What
is the difference between an HTML format announcement and
a Jpeg attachment announcement?
When considering the email delivery of your announcement,
there are two options to choose from:
The HTML format option views
just like a web page in the recipient’s inbox. It
requires that you provide us with a complete list of the
email addresses you wish to send your announcement to. We
then ensure that your announcement is sent directly and
securely to the inboxes of your friends and family without
you ever having to lift a finger. Please view our
email list help file for instructions.
The Jpeg Attachment format
allows you to handle the email delivery of your announcement
yourself. Once you have approved your final announcement
design, a jpeg attachment will be emailed directly to you.
You are then able to forward your announcement to as many
friends and family members as you would like.
How
do my friends and family view the announcement?
If you have selected the HTML format for your announcement,
it will be viewed directly in the inbox of the recipient,
just like any other email message you may have sent them.
If you have opted to send your friends and family a Jpeg
attachment, it will either be viewed directly in the message
of the email or viewed by clicking on the attachment, just
like any other attachment you may have sent them.
What
if some of my friends and family are unable to view my announcement
in their email inbox?
Although this is NOT a typical problem,
HTML emails and/or Jpeg attachments may not work in everyone’s
email programs. Also, some workplace email addresses may
have security settings that restrict viewing. Just in case,
your friends and family also receive a website link where
they are able to view the same announcement online.
What
will read in the “Subject”, “To”
and “From” lines of my email announcement?
If you have selected to have us handle your email delivery
by opting for an HMTL announcement, the "Subject"
line will read "Our New Arrival". The "To"
line will have the individual email addresses of your friends
and family. The "From" line will show your personal
email address.
Will
the announcement be viewed exactly as I ordered it?
Due to differences in email programs and operating systems
there will be minor variations in the appearance of your
announcement but the overall design will remain the same.
Colors will also shift slightly depending on your monitor
settings.
